LEAMINGTON Swimming Club are riding high after recording their best ever results at the recent Warwickshire County Championships in Coventry.
There were no fewer than 217 new personal best times recorded which helped 153 Leamington swimmers secure places in their respective finals.
One of the club’s outstanding performers was Molly Quelch who’s outstanding performances in both the 100-metre freestyle and butterfly events saw the 14-year-old crowned Junior County Champion.
Molly continued to impress in the medley and freestyle relays helping her team mates to silver in both races.
With the medal table reading 22 gold, 26 silver and 17 bronze, Leamington’s attention is now focused on maximising the number of qualifiers to compete at the West Midlands Championships in May and June.
