THERE was more success for Kingsley School at the Midland School’s Championship after coming away as the most successful girl’s team at the event.

The Under-12s achieved a first place finish at the Championships on February 28, while the Under-14s also impressed by coming second.

The Under-16 ‘A’ team were made to settle for a third place finish, while the ‘B’ team claimed fourth position.

In the Under-19 category, Kingsley’s ‘A’ team finished third and the ‘B’ in the same age group settled for fourth spot.

Scoring for girl only teams, Kinglsey achieved three first places and one runner-up position, which made them the most successful of any school team, maintaining their rating as the top girl’s school for skiing in the Midlands.

The school has a race squad of 18 girls aged 11-17, and a Development Team of 14 girls aged 7 to 16 who train every 2 weeks at The Ackers Trust in Birmingham.
