MARTIN Dorrill was the first of eight Kenilworth Runners to complete the 15-mile Banbury Road Race on Sunday.
The 300 participants were met by overcast weather to tackle a course which included three significant hills while there were three further tough hill climbs to tackle.
Dorrill finished in a time of 1:41.37 to claim 40th position and he was followed home by Neil Sheward who took 44th in 1:41.51.
Louise Andrews was the highest placed Kenilworth female after crossing the finish in just over one hour and 50 minutes to claim 78th position overall.
There were also new personal best times for Neil Sheward (1:41.51), Louise Andrews (1:50.01), Debbie Streets (2:10.26), Mandy Crust (2:16.29), Liz Hegan (2:24.52), Stuart Batchelor (2:24.59).
Elsewhere, there were also new personal best times for Kenilworth Runners at the Aldi Ashby 20-mile race on Sunday.
Marc Curtis (2:14.52) and Colin Bailey (2:41.00) both continued their marathon training with impressive performances.
Pavan Ayyalasomayajula (3:04.16) also recorded a new personal best time. The race was won by Gareth Lowe of Clown in 1:53.43 and there were 1,239 finishers.
