CHRIS McKeown came first for the third successive year at the Firkin 5k, leading Spa Striders to more success at the weekend.
Team-mate James Robbins also completed the race, whilst over at the scenic Dwon to the Wyre 10k, Nigel Fox (51:06) came fourth in his category, followed by Ves Hill (1:12:52).
At the Keswick Mountain Festival in Cumbria, Lucy Tugwell was the eighth-fastest female in the Back o’Skiddaw 70km, finishing in just over three hours (3:02:36).
Meanwhile, in the Keswick 25km trail race, Rich Sykes (2:37:54) shaved eight minutes off his time from the 2018 event.
On Sunday, a number of Striders completed the Worcester Half Marathon, with Claire Davidson leading the way for the club as the sixth-fastest female, the second fastest in her age category, and 51st overall – in a time of 1:39:08.
Mike Cox (3:55:44) and Paul Harris (4:12:05) took on the challenge of the full marathon, finishing fifth and ninth in their age categories respectively.
Over at the Stratford Triathlon, Sandra Stokes and Vicky Sharpe completed the course – consisting of a 400m swim, an 18km bike ride, finished off with a 5km run.
Imogen Peck (37th, 1:16:26) and Pete Schofield (70th, 1:22:31) finished the Coventry equivalent, with Peck being the third fastest woman to finish the event.
At the Outlaw Half Ironman in Nottingham, Gethryn Friswell (5:29:34) and Amanda Bonjour (5:56:44) finished the grueling course, after a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and a 13.1 mile run.
Elsewhere, James Hodges braved the mountainous Slateman Triathlon in Snowdonia, crossing the line in a time of 3:25:01.
