RACING Club Warwick’s football academy are recruiting players for next year during the October half term.
Former Racing player and England international Ben Foster is an ambassador of the club’s academy which has been taken in-house after a four-year partnership with a third party came to an end.
The scholarship trials will take place at 9.30am on Tuesday, October 25 for current Year 11 and Year 12 students at the club’s Townsend Meadow ground.
Chairman Gary Vella said: “We have been delighted with how things have gone this year.
“Running the academy in-house means we can utilise all of the resources at our disposal both financially and physically and ensures that we can play our football at the highest level outside of the professional game in the National League.
“We employ the very best coaches around to deliver a fantastic experience for the lads and our education programme, in partnership with Heart of England Training, offers an outstanding BTEC course, giving scholars an opportunity to obtain maximum UCAS points, widening their options post Further Education.”
