LEAMINGTON heavyweight Matty Harris will fight on the undercard of a world title show in Scotland next month.
Harris (5-0, 4 KO) returns to the ring for the first time since March to fight Ukrainian Kostiantyn Dovbyshchenko (9-13-1) on Friday, July 21 live on Channel 5.
And Harris is full of confidence ahead of his undercard bout with Dovbyshchenko at Meadowbank Sports Centre in Edinburgh next month.
Harris said: “I don’t think I will have any trouble getting him out of there.
“I’m 19 stone and with these 10oz gloves on, I hit people very hard. These gloves are unforgiving, especially when you are as explosive as I am.
“If he gets past the first round, then I’m getting him in the second.”
The 23-year-old took less than 30 seconds to knock out Milos Veletic in his last outing and is trying to become the first man to stop Dovbyshchenko inside the distance in 23 fights.
Harris’s fight is on the undercard of Lee McGregor’s world title homecoming bout against Mexico’s Erik Robles for the vacant IBO world super bantamweight belt.
