WORKS are set to begin on a large housing development in Warwick.
Construction will begin in the spring on building 735 homes between Myton Road and Europa Way.
The site known as Myton Green, was given the green light two years ago.
Work is expected to last just over a year and includes a road to link Europa Way with Gallows Hill, and recreational areas.
It falls within an area allocated for 1,505 new homes – the largest site in Warwick District Council’s Local Plan which outlines proposals for 12,860 homes to be built by 2029.
Both Whitnash Town Council and the Heathcote Park Residents Association had objected to the scheme having raised concerns about increased traffic in the area.
