VOLUNTEERS are needed to get the household chores done at Charlecote Park.
Bosses at the National Trust property near Wellesbourne are keen to recruit people to help bring history alive.
They want hands on volunteers to do the washing in the laundry, cooking in the kitchen and buffing up saddles in the tack room. Full training and costumes are provided.
Volunteering Manager Rosie Thompson said: “There’s nothing better than seeing families getting hands on and joining in. Knowing that you’ve helped them to really enjoy their time together is a great feeling.”
And on Wednesday (December 4) and Sunday 8 would -be volunteers can find out more at drop-in sessions from 11am to 2pm.
