FLORAL tributes adorn the stretch of road in Leamington where three people were killed in an horrific car crash at the weekend.

The smash happened on Radford Road near to the junctions of Willes Road and Eastnor Grove around 2.45am on Saturday (June 20).

It is understood a Citroen Saxo travelling out of Leamington on the A425 left the road and collided with a tree and a wall.

Emily Jennings, 27, Nathan Rhodes, 23, from Southam and Ryan Case, 25, from Stockton all died at the scene.

It has since been flooded with floral tributes and cards – one of the most poignant written by Nathan’s mum.

It reads: “My Darling Nathan, Looking at this photo reminds me of really how beautiful you are and always will be to me. I was so proud of you on the day this was taken and what you said in your speech about me.

“I know I am never going to see your smiling face again but I will never forget it. I love you so much and always will my darling boy.

“Sleep tight my own guardian angel. Mummy xxx”

Nathan’s brother, Simon Rhodes also left a tribute in which he wrote: “I really hope you’re enjoying it up there. I cannot tell you how much you’re going to be missed. I truly did love you and I’ll never be the same without you.

“I really will not know what to do now – you’re everything to me. Your memory will live on. I will see you again my brother, I’m so sorry and I do love you.”

He added: “Rest in peace my brother. I love you so, so much. I cannot wait to see you again. Goodbye my best friend. Love your one and only brother Simon (Torres) x”

A friend of Emily’s, called Sheri, wrote: “I’m in total shock my beautiful friend. Sleep tight love Sheri x” while another called Melissa left a message saying: “Love you so much. I wish it was different. I’m thinking of you always, missing you always. I just want you back. Love from Melissa.”

Zoe Haynes wrote: “Sorry to all the families that lost somebody in this accident. RIP Ryan. Such a tragic thing to happen. My heart is with your families and two daughters. You were a friend to many and will be missed.”

Zoe Kenny added: “Rest in peace. Gone too young. Heaven has gained an angel – sleep tight.”

And Sarah Talbot’s tribute read: “To Nathan, Ryan and the others in the accident. Words cannot describe how awful this is.

“My thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. RIP lots of love.”

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol but has since been bailed until July 31.

A 21-year-old man, who was also travelling in the car, was left with serious injuries and had to be taken to University Hospital where his condition is described as ‘stable’.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward as part of their investigation.
