ARNOLD Lodge School has opposed a planning application for work on neighbouring Binswood retirement village on grounds of child safety.
Plans include new apartments and an extension to the existing building, conversion of two cottages to form part of the complex, and additional car parking.
The independent Leamington primary school has raised concerns about windows overlooking the playground, which they say has child protection implications.
Audley, which manages the Binswood centre, have agreed that any windows facing the playground would be obscured glazed and non-opening.
Warwick District Council plans committee will consider the application on Tuesday.
