BRIGHT youngsters at Heathcote Primary School in Warwick are sure to be seen this winter.
Pupils have received a donation of hi-vis vests from developer David Wilson Homes to help keep them safe in the darker winter months.
Heathcote Primary School is located on the homebuilder’s Poet’s Meadow development and the donation is part of its commitment to the school.
Headteacher Lara Jeffries said: “We are doing everything we can to promote children walking safely to school. Not only does it promote a healthy lifestyle, it provides an opportunity for parents to chat with their children and a chance for friends to walk together.
“It is also a far more sustainable choice in a time where climate change is at a critical tipping point so let’s do our bit.”
