Rotarians donate £13,000 to special needs school

Leamington Editorial 24th Jun, 2017   0

ROTARIANS have donated money to improve the lives of youngsters with special needs.

The Warwick Rotary Club awarded Ridgeway Special school in Warwick with £13,400.

Last year the club helped fund the replacement of the sensory garden and install musical play items in the area.

And members who have since visited the school, decided to fund a new outdoor canopy, and a mobile hoist for children who are wheelchair bound.

A new safe play surface was also installed so the children, many with complex needs, can play outdoors.
