AN OUTDOOR classroom has been christened with a ‘den building’ session.
Children from Kingsley Preparatory School and their parents took part in Save the Children’s Den Day in the classroom.
Pupils spent the day building dens, cooking on fire pits and making rafts – raising over £200 for Save the Children.
Early Years Lead Professional Camilla Harris said: “It is fantastic for us to have this day to celebrate and share our new facilities with the community.
“In a world of technology and gadgets, it is so important for our children to get back to nature with a love, respect and care for our environment. We look forward to fully exploring and sharing our space across the school, promoting the highly creative curriculum we value so highly.”
