PLANS to turn a Leamington home into bedsits have been met with concern from neighbours.
Proposals have been put forward to turn the existing property at 39 Lillington Road into 11 bedsits for ‘young professionals’. Each room would have an ensuite.
But some 15 residents have objected to the application saying parking would be an issue and the rooms would be ‘out of keeping’ with the area.
One said: “The area is popular with local families that have worked all their lives to be in the position to be able to live in this area and that is a lifestyle as well as a financial choice.
“By changing the dynamic of the area you would eroded years of hard work and sacrifices that local residents have made to live in this area.”
