PLANS to build 131 homes in Hampton Magna have been given the green light.
Developers Richborough Estates have received the go-ahead from Warwick District Council to build on land off Lloyd Close.
The site will include a children’s play area and 40 per cent of the homes will be classed as affordable.
More than 120 letters of objection were submitted against the application, with many concerned about the pressure on schools and doctors. Budbrooke Parish Council also expressed worries about the increase in traffic in the village.
