PLANS to build 125 homes on former green belt land in Kenilworth look set to be given the green light.
Developers Richborough Estates has applied to build a mix of one to five bedroom properties on the land off Warwick Road, close to Kenilworth Cricket Club.
Concerns have been raised that a children’s play area, which is being incorporated into the development, is set to be built too close to the club and leaves children at risk of flying cricket balls.
But Warwick District Council’s planning committee is expected to grant outline permission at a meeting on Tuesday (April 24).
