Emergency services were called to rescue a trapped man following a crash in Kenilworth.
Crews rushed to Bullimore Grove at around 6.30pm on Tuesday (March 14) where one 55 year-old driver was trapped and had a head injury and fractures. Another man, age 41, was also injured.
Both were taken to hospital.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “On arrival, ambulance staff found the driver of one of the cars trapped. Working with firefighters, the man was cut free.
“The 55 year old was immobilised and had his other fractures splinted before being taken on blue lights to the major trauma centre at University Hospital Coventry.
“The driver of the other car suffered relatively minor injuries but due to the nature of the collision was also taken to the major trauma centre as a precaution.”
