CARING volunteers are being thanked by Myton Hospice.
There are around 1,000 volunteers who help to keep the hospice running – from working in their 20 shops to helping out at their sites in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry.
And to show their gratitude the charity is set to hold a number of BBQs during National Volunteers’ Week, from June 1 to 7.
Volunteer Development Manager Charlotte Witteridge said: “Myton is lucky enough to have an invaluable team of volunteers without whom we would not be able to provide the services that we do.
“Volunteers are vital to supporting the work of Myton and Volunteers Week provides us with an opportunity to show how valued our volunteers are, provide thanks, and to showcase the fantastic work that they carry out for Myton.”
