MP Matt Western is looking to honour constituency champions.
The Warwick and Leamington MP’s Community Excellence Awards event will return next February – and he is calling for nominations.
The online ceremony on February 17 will pay tribute to hardworking and often unsung workers and volunteers in the constituency.
A pandemic support group and the Warwick Hospital Frailty Unit staff were among the winners at last February’s inaugural event.
Almost 3,500 people tuned in to watch the event which was hosted by BBC Coventry and Warwickshire presenter Phil Upton.
From nearly 100 nominations, the judges selected eight winners.
The deadline for nominations for next year’s event is January 7.
Mr Western said: “It is important that those who work in public service or give their time or service voluntarily to assist others should be recognised.
“I want to make people feel valued and appreciated on one special day.
“There were eight wonderful winners last year and I hope to receive even more nominations this year.”
Residents of Warwick and Leamington can vote for individuals, a business, community group or a team – a hospital team, or charity team etc – based in the constituency.
