A MAN suffered serious leg injuries after being hit by a train in Leamington on Saturday morning (August 2).
It happened near Leamington Railway Station around 7.20am, and emergency services, including Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was quickly on the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said “The man, believed to be in his mid 30s, received emergency treatment at the scene by medics and was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further emergency treatment.
It is not know how the victim came to be on the track.
