REVVED-UP pupils at two Kenilworth primary schools are looking to outpace the opposition in a national competition.
Crackley Hall School and Priors Field Primary School both made it through to the national finals of the F1 into Schools – Jaguar Primary School Challenge.
The Speed Stingers from Crackley Hall and Eruption from Priors Field came first and second respectively in the local Warwickshire regional competition held recently at Princethorpe College.
The challenge is open to pupils aged five to 11 and involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible emulating the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies, such as Jaguar.
