JAMIE Oliver gave a hi-tech cooking masterclass to pupils in Southam.
Pupils at St Mary’s Primary plugged in to video link for some top tips from the celebrity chef who has made it his mission to get youngsters eating healthy food.
Jamie offered step by step instructions as the pupils made wholegrain ‘squash-it’ sandwich rolls – which including prepping and tasting a number of vegetables.
Deputy Head Teresa Micallef said: “St Mary’s aims to educate and prepare children for a healthy lifestyle.
“As well as regular ‘healthy cooking’ lessons, they grow their own vegetables, learn about farms and where food comes from and take part in extra sports activities.”
Tesco generously supplied much of the food for the lesson.
