HOMES are set to be built at The Warwickshire Golf and Country Club.
Owners of the club applied to build five homes on a mainly-disused car park at the site’s entrance in Leek Wootton.
Several objections were received relating to the application, with residents saying the development would spoil the landscape, cause road safety risks and impact on wildlife and the character of the area.
People also voiced concern about the loss of the car park, which they say is currently unofficially used by dog walkers, nearby residents and parents waiting to pick their children up from school.
The club has not revealed how many bedrooms each home would contain, but say the houses will be based around a courtyard.
