ROMAN history was brought to life for students at Kingsley School.
Visiting group Legion XIIII taught pupils at the Leamington school about the life in Britain before and after the Roman invasion.
Pupils had the chance to experience being drilled as Roman soldiers, learning and following commands in Latin, and also dressing up as Celts and being locked up in slave chains.
Kingsley’s head of Classics Imogen Peace said: “The girls had a really enjoyable day, which developed their understanding of these ancient cultures.
“It was a memorable learning experience for all who took part.”
