Historic trophies among items stolen after archery club hit by burglars

Leamington Editorial 6th Dec, 2018   0

HISTORIC trophies were among some of the items stolen from an archery club in Leamington.

Thieves took trophies – some dating from the 18th century – a generator and equipment from Leamington Archery Club on Bericote Road in Blackdown.

Police say the burglary happened between 8pm on Monday November 26 and 5pm the following day.

They are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

PC Scott McKeown said: “Many of the items stolen were distinctive so we’re asking people to keep an eye out for them at car boot sales and on the internet. Please report anything suspicious to police.”

Anyone with information or who sees the items is asked to call police on 101 or ring 0800 555 111 to speak to Crimestoppers anonymously.
