Gardens set to open in aid of Myton Hospice

Leamington Editorial 31st May, 2017   0

LOVELY Styvechale Gardens are to open to the public on Sunday June 11 in aid of Coventry Myton Hospice – in conjunction with the National Garden Scheme’s events.

The group of seven varied gardens in the Styvechale suburban area of Coventry constitutes a collection of beautiful mature gardens.

The group says: “Come and enjoy the imaginatively planted herbaceous borders, spectacular roses, water features, fruit and vegetable patches, cottage garden planting and shady areas.

“There is something for everyone and plenty of ideas for you to take home.

“Relax in the gardens and enjoy the warm, friendly welcome you will receive from us all.”

There will be refreshments available and plants for sale in some of the gardens, from 11am to 5pm.

Combined admission is £4 and children can visit for free.

The group makes a donation to Coventry Myton Hospice.

The gardens are located in the south of Coventry close to the A45.

The organisers say a vehicle is needed to visit one of the gardens, but it is ‘well worth the trip’ – a 10-minute drive from the ticket office.

Tickets and a map are available on the day from West Orchard United Reformed Church, The Chesils, CV3 6FP.

Advance tickets are available from [email protected].
