THE FUSILIER Museum in Warwick has reopened.
The museum opened its doors ahead of VJ Day – Victory over Japan – and to ensure it meets government guidelines there are safety measures in place including social distancing reminders, mandatory face masks, hygiene screens, payment by card reader, an enhanced cleaning regime, and hand sanitiser stations.
Curator Stephanie Bennett said: “It has been great to finally re-open and to be able to welcome visitors back, especially in time for this historic weekend – the 75th anniversary of VJ Day. The 1st Battalion the Royal Warwickshire Regiment were still fighting in the Far East.”
The museum is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
