Fresh appeal for missing man six months on

Leamington Editorial 7th Apr, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THE FAMILY of a man who went missing while attending a wedding party in Ryton six months ago are appealing for fresh information.

Nottingham man Baljeev Johal was last seen with his family during the party on Saturday October 4 at the Sports Connexion on Leamington Road.

It is thought the 25 year-old left the venue on foot and he was reported missing in the early hours of the following day (October 5).

Extensive searches and appeals have been carried out to locate Baljeev but there have been no confirmed sightings to date.

And six months on, both the police and Baljeev’s family are issuing a renewed appeal to find him.

Baljeev’s sister, Haneet Johal, said: “As a family it gets harder and harder for us. People say things get easier over time, but for us it get’s worse.

“We just need some piece of mind, and to know if Baljeev is out there somewhere that he is okay. We miss him so much, and would urge anyone who knows anything at all to contact the police.”

Baljeev is around 6ft 3in, wears glasses and was last seen wearing a black suit and white shirt.

Contact Warwickshire Police by calling 101 or the missing people charity on 116 000 in confidence.
