CANCER Research UK is looking for screening champions across Warwickshire.
Working with public health teams, the programme will train people to raise awareness of local screening services and help them identify signs of cancer earlier.
Aimed at non-health professionals, the free training hopes to attract community leaders and people who work with the public.
The training is part of the national cancer strategy in Warwickshire and Coventry, and aims to help prevent cancer, promote early diagnosis, and help people live well after they have been treated for cancer.
Training will be held on July 11 at Brunswick Hub in Leamington. Booking is on a first come, first served basis.
