Former Robbins Well to be turned into apartments

Leamington Editorial 27th Nov, 2017   0

THE FORMER Robbins Well bar and attached buildings are set to be turned into apartments.

The Grade II listed building on Victoria Terrace, along with numbers one to three on Victoria Colonnade will be transformed into ten apartments.

Owner Mr Panaich bought the former bar, kitchen and office building last year when it was in disrepair. He has since made it safe and looked for new businesses to take over the running of the site, but has had little luck.

The building will now undergo a complete rehaul to turn it into flats – including demolishing former extensions, rebuilding them and replacing the roof and windows.

It will include one four-bedroom apartment, seven two-bedroom apartments and two one-bedroom apartments.

A spokesman said: “The building is a prominent listed building, located on the corner position with Victoria Terrace and Victoria Colonnade running along-side the river and is an assess to the town centre. It is important the building is restored and brought back in use.”
