A FORMER house in Warwick could be demolished and have 20 flats built in its place.
Developers Hamble Associates has applied to Warwick District Council to knock down the building at 27 Upper Cape and rebuild it as apartments.
If given the green light the development will consist of 16 two-bedroom flats, three one-bedroom flats and one studio apartment. Eight of the properties would be affordable. There would also be 30 parking spaces.
A number of complaints have been receieved about the application, with residents saying there will be a big impact on parking and increase in traffic. Some are also worried about the impact of noise and lights on those potentially living in the development, which is situated opposite haulage company Maxi Group.
The plans are set to be discussed at a meeting tonight (Tuesday May 22).
