Charity supporting sick and injured pets in need of donations

Leamington Editorial 29th May, 2018   0

A CHARITY supporting sick and injured animals is urging people to donate any items they were thinking about throwing away.

The Blue Cross’ charity shops in Warwick and Leamington need donations of good quality items which they could potentially sell to support homeless, abandoned sick and injured pets.

A spokeswoman for the charity said: “This is the perfect time of year for a clear out, but don’t just throw something away because you haven’t worn or used it in a while. We are always in need of stock and welcome clothing and household goods that we can sell in aid of needy pets to become a ‘new’ item for someone else.”

Items can be dropped off at the stores on Regent Street in Leamington or Swan Street in Warwick during opening hours – 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
