Chance to find out more about living with sight loss

THOSE suffering from sight loss are invited to find out more about services offered by Guide Dogs.

The charity is holding a free information day at the Leamington Training School on Warwick New Road on Tuesday April 25 between 10am and 3.30pm.

The event will include a talk about the charity’s services, a tour of the training centre and a talk by a guide dog owner.

SCOUT troops are being urged to find out more about living with sight loss.

Guide Dogs are offering Warwickshire Scout Troops the chance to take part in a session to discover some of the issues affecting people with sight loss.


The charity are looking for ten troops in teams of five to meet some of the dogs and service users and learn how to be a sighted guide. Scouts who take part can use the experience to work towards some of their badges.

Sessions will be held during April and May at the Training School on Warwick New Road.
