Body of missing man found in River Leam

Leamington Editorial 9th Apr, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

THE BODY of a man who went missing six months ago has been recovered from the River Leam.

Baljeev Johal was reported missing following a wedding in Ryton last October – prompting widespread appeals from his family and police in a bid to find him.

But the 24 year-old’s body was found in the river at Marton on Monday (April 6).

The cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

Baljeev, from Nottingham, graduated from Leicester University with a business degree shortly before he disappeared.

His family and Warwickshire Police thanked people for their support in the search for Baljeev.
