TOYS have been donated to Warwick Hospital by kind-hearted nursery children.
Youngsters at Arnold Lodge Nursery in Leamington decided to raise money for MacGregor Ward after talking about those who are spending Christmas in hospital instead of at home.
Money was raised at an open day, and now a number of toys have been donated – including a see-saw and a police car.
Nursery manager Jeanette Palmer-Tanner said: “In this period of giving we felt it was a good lesson for the nursery children to find a way to help those in need this Christmas.
“A toy donation for Warwick Hospital felt an appropriate and helpful way to do this – we hope that the toys are a success in the ward and help to brighten up the children’s stay there.”
