APPRENTICES have been recognised in courses from engineering to animal care at a graduation ceremony.
Warwickshire College apprentices celebrated alongside family, friends and employers at a ceremony at Old Shire Hall in Warwick.
Awards were given to ‘outstanding’ achievers, including 18 year-old Kera Bryant who scooped a prize for her work in animal care and 31 year-old Christopher Wright who received an engineering and construction award.
Tehya-Leonie Kirby, age 19, from Leamington was the named outstanding apprentice in service industries after completing a business qualification.
Principal Angela Joyce said, “Our graduation is a wonderful opportunity for us to recognise and reward apprentices in the same way as those who have studied for a degree. We were delighted to see so many family, friends and employers coming together to celebrate the apprentices’ achievements.
“Congratulations to all of the apprentices who were recognised tonight – we wish them all the very best for the future and continued success in their careers.”
