LANDLUBBERS are invited to celebrate with 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts at the group’s annual family fun day and regatta this Sunday (June 23).
The scouts recently announced reaching the first fund-raising target towards its new headquarters – the initial stage which will see a new jetty built at the site.
And to help the scouts celebrate, between 11am and 4pm the group will hold activities on the water including rowing races, duck races and boat rides to Warwick Castle.
There will also be a bouncy castle, rowing machine challenge, tombola and ferret racing along with refreshments including a bbq, Domino’s pizza, cake and ice creams.
Visitors can also see the plans for a new jetty at the event, which will be held at the scout hut – near the footbridge over the River Avon in St Nicholas Park
