ROCK and soul are on the calendar at Leamington's Assembly next April.
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be parking up on April 21.
The influential LA-based rockers will be touring their fifth studio album, Beat The Devil’s Tattoo, the first album with drummer Leah Shapiro.
The trio - named after Marlon Brando's biker gang in The Wild One - formed in 1998, and made an instant impact with their first two albums of drugged-out vocals and shimmering guitars, indebted to the classic hard rock of Led Zeppelin coupled with slower paced psychedelic rock, most notably that of the Jesus and Mary Chain.
In later years they have added blues and folk into the mix, while remaining disticntly and angst-ridden in theme.
On stage their reputation precedes them and they were for a time known as 'the band that broke the floor' after a concert in Leeds in 2003, when the plug had to be pulled on a gig half way through after council officials feared the floor of Leeds Town Hall was about to collapse.
And soul diva Beverley Knight will be taking to the same stage a couple of weeks earlier on April 8.
The Wolverhampton-born songstress has become the UK's very own queen of soul a career spanning 15 years during which she has sold more than a million albums - including one platinum and four gold - collect three MOBO awards, Brit and Mercury nominations, and also an MBE.
She has also collobraorated with some of teh biggest names in teh busienss, everyone from Take That to Prince, Carlos Santana to Stevie Wonder.
She released her sixth album 100%, spanning modern R&B to rock-edged funk to soul balladry, in November.
