FOOTPRINTS in the snow led to six people being arrested following a robbery at a Whitnash shop last weekend.
Members of staff at the One Stop convenience store on Heathcote Road were threatened by two men who stole money, stamps and lottery scratchcards shortly after 7.30am on Saturday (March 23).
But police officers attended the scene and were able to follow footprints in the snow from the store to a block of nearby flats.
Further enquiries led them to attend a second address where four people were arrested and two other suspects were arrested later in the day.
Four suspects appeared before court charged with robbery while two were later released without charge.
A 16-year-old girl, who cannot be named due to her age, appeared before juvenile court on Monday (March 25) and was bailed to return on April 4.
Three others - John Charles Ryder, 38, Kevin Lee McGregor, 24 and Maggie Ryder, 47, all of Masters Road - appeared before Magistrates in Leamington on the same day and were also remanded to return on April 4.
John Ryder was further charged with resisting arrest.
