EDWINA Hayes, a well-established name on both the British and American acoustic music scene, brings her country-folk sound to Leamington's Spa Centre on March 8.
Born in Dublin, she grew up in Preston, Lancashire before moving to the East coast of Yorkshire as a teenager, where she has been based ever since.
Dividing her time between the UK and America, Edwina's second home is home of Country music capital Nashville where she is much-loved as a songwriter and artist.
Her influences include the likes of Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Carole King, Van Morrison, and Nanci Griffith, the latter of who she has toured with, and who covered one of her songs.
Edwina's debut album Out On My Own was released in 2005, with follow-up Pour Me A Drink following three years later, and her third Good Things Happen Over Coffee was released a year ago.
