TWO people were arrested in Leamington after a road rage assault just before Christmas.

A 28-year-old woman and 46-year-old man from Warwick were held on suspicion of assault following an alleged road rage incident at 2.30pm on Sunday December 23 at the roundabout of Myton Road and Princes Drive.

Police are appealing for witnesses and believe it to involve the occupants of two vehicles after they stopped near the roundabout.

A 21-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment to a broken leg.

Following questioning the arrested pair were bailed pending further enquiries.
