Hi: 24° Lo:12° 7 day

UP TO 1,000 colourful lanterns lit up the night sky of Leamington on Thursday (December 13).
The second annual Lantern Parade was twice as big as last year after parents and children flocked to local workshops to create lanterns of all shapes and sizes featuring animals, Christmas trees, angels, teddy bears and snowmen.
All came together at 5.30pm on Thursday for a parade from the Pump Room Gardens bandstand up The Parade to the town hall, outside which there will be music, theatrics and Christmas carols.
