A PENSIONER who went missing from a service station near Warwick has been found safe and well.

Michael Dagg, 72, stopped with his wife at the Barnhill services, between junctions 12 and 13 of the M40, on Sunday afternoon (December 2).

When he failed to return to his car, his wife and relatives searched the services for him then alerted police at 3pm. A dog team and force helicopter assisted in a search but were unable to locate him.

But Mr Dagg, who suffers occasional complete memory loss, made his own way home to his address in South Shields, Northumbria, arriving in the early hours of this morning (December 3).
