THREE cannabis farms have been uncovered in Leamington.
Police issued a warrant at a house in Masters Road on Thursday (November 22), all four bedrooms of which had been cleared and converted to growing rooms. The growers were in the process of clearing the property as all lights and convertors had been removed.
Three large bags of cannabis stalks were recovered, which are considered waste by growers.
Officers also executed a warrant at an address in Llewellyn Road, Leamington, on Tuesday (November 27) following an anonymous tip off and there they seized the remains of 40 large cannabis plants from the loft and garage and a number of juvenile cannabis plants from the garage.
A small amount of herbal cannabis and cash was also recovered from the kitchen.
Officers also discovered an extensive cannabis factory after being called to a suspected burglary in Llewelyn Road on Wednesday (November 28)
When officers arrived to meet the landlord at the unoccupied property, they discovered there had not been a break in but there was a full scale cannabis factory at the address.
Officers seized hundreds of plants and equipment that was found throughout the three-storey building. Due to the time of the night a guard was placed on the property overnight and the plants were seized the next day.
The electricity board were also alerted and disconnected the power supply to the house.
