PIN on a poppy was the message when this year's appeal was launched in Leamington at the weekend.

Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White attended the morning launch in the Royal Priors shopping centre on Saturday (October 27), supported by local members of the Royal British Legion.

The annual appeal is the biggest fund-raising campaign of the year by the legion and was launched nationally on Wednesday (October 24) with a pop-up concert in Trafalgar Square.

The 2012 campaign hopes to break previous records with an ambitious target of £42 million and donations are welcome all-year round.
