A NEW Leamington bar and restaurant billed as offering a “superstar experience” has been officially launched.
An opening night of Altoria, on Warwick Street, was held on Thursday (October 25), attended by local dignitaries including town mayor coun Yvonne Moore, who cut the ribbon.
Also in attendance were representatives of local businesses as well as Barclay's business, corporate and wealth clients. A raffle was held in aid Myton Hospice with Barclay's matching the amount made.
The venue, formerly Koko's, has been billed as a sophisticated restaurant, bar and club, consisting of numerous floors and rooms, each offering a different atmosphere.
On the ground floor, Altoria features Skype Booths and serves as a restaurant by day before transforming into a bar at night. On the first floor is Uber, a club room which will have access to the latest DJ technology and sound equipment. A VIP room on the 2nd floor, featuring a table service and female-friendly luxury seating, will be known as 'Boutique.' Finally the Observatory, doubling as a smoking area, is a semi-glazed roof terrace.
Bosses of the 800-capacity venue said they aimed, in particular, to entertain over-25s, intending to give them a “Superstar experience” at the end of the working day.
