Two hurt as tractor and cars crash near Kenilworth

TWO people were injured after a tractor and two cars crashed near Kenilworth.

The accident, just after 1pm on Tuesday (October 15) on the Stoneleigh Road, brought two ambulances to the scene.

A man travelling in one car, believed to be in his late 40s, suffered chest, back and abdominal injuries and was transferred to University Hospital Coventry for treatment.

A second man travelling in the other car involved, believed to be in his late 60s, suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Warwick Hospital.

Ambulance Service area support officer, Benjamin Lyons, said: “Ambulance crews arrived to find two cars and a tractor had been in a significant collision.

“No other person was injured in the crash.”
