YOUNGSTERS in the town are being encouraged to lace up their running shoes for the first ever Kids Run Free festival this Saturday (September 29.)

Having already inspired more than 1000 local children to participate in monthly running events across the Midlands, the Kids Run Free team are inviting children and families to join them in the town for a celebration of sport.

The event will take place at Newbold Comyn Park, Leamington Spa from 12.30pm to 3.30pm with 40 running courses for different age groups on the day including one for children with disabilities.

The races will be split into individual age groups and as part of the celebration there will be a bouncy castle, treasure hunt, pancake bar, bike assault course and a sensory experience for all children including those with disabilities.
