YOUNG tennis players at Crackley Hall School in Kenilworth are hoping to follow in the footsteps of British Grand Slam winner Andy Murray
The eager quartet, all members of Kenilworth Tennis and Squash Club, include sisters Amy and Lucy Gribben.
Eight-year-old prodigy Lucy has has already won the Warwickshire County title and impressed talent spotters enough to be invited to attend two Regional Development Camps at Loughborough University this autumn.
And doubles duo Barney Holton and Madoc Williams have also had their potential in the game recognised.
Crackley Hall headteacher Robert Duigan was full of praise for the young athletes’ achievements.
“It is wonderful for our pupils to be able to see how hard work and commitment pays off on the sports field.”
