STAFF at Sainsbury's spent a day at Stratford's Olympic Park enjoying the Paralympic Games.
Seven lucky colleagues from the store in Leamington were chosen to be part of a group of 5,000 Sainsbury's workers who experienced a day of sport to celebrate their sponsorship of the Paralympic Games on Monday (September 3).
Thousands of colleagues across the country entered in the hope of attending this once in lifetime trip.
With the day’s sports schedule set to commence at 10.45am, the Leamington store joined hundreds of other stores and depots from across the country in taking a Paralympic celebration photo.
Sainsbury’s Leamington store manager Richard Fox said: “We wanted to come up with a photo opportunity which really captured our community’s support for the games and one that would live long in the memory.
“We hope this event will help maintain the buzz of the Paralympic Games, which we’re proud to be sponsoring.”
